Alpine Botanicals Herbal Apothecary

The founder of Alpine Botanicals had a vision of an herbal apothecary in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Its mission would be to encourage health through knowledge of, and access to, regeneratively-grown herbal medicines. As a lover of plants I was so pleased when she approached me asking for help with this new venture.

Inspired by the French apothecary tradition, I paired a playful typeface with a wreath of beautifully-illustrated Colorado mountain herbs. As the brand developed, I used closeup images of the wreath illustration to take advantage of its beautiful details. For promotional materials I repeated the circle and the illustration from the logo to highlight the content. The result is lively, and earthy, with a nice sense of texture.
